Agreed. Strath has a slight edge but both are good schools. Strath is ranked in the FT Top 100 globally, while I don't think Glasgow is. Strath is triple-accredited by AACSB, AMBA and Equis; Glasgow has both AACSB and AMBA.

Strathclyde, it's MBA makes you a better manager and boosts your self-confidence as well as gives you the skills to perform your job better.
It's Strathclyde without a doubt.

strath mba is better but glasgow as a university is a bit far ahead.
so if you think it is all down to the education no doubt it is strath
if you think it is the overall prestige of the university, the history, the networking then glasgow
either is pretty good

Hi
Does anyone here have any idea about the career services of Strath? Do they do enough for placement assistance?
For foreigners who want to have some experience in UK post their MBA, this aspect is very important.
No matter how good your role was before the MBA, getting a job in a new country would need a lot of assistance and the MBA school is the best body to do that.
I am looking at Strath, Durham, Aston, Henley and Bath. From all the discussions in all forums plus from the rankings et al Strath seems to be the choice based on its educational quality but am not so sure about their career services. Please help me decide.

UK B-Schools are not as aggressive as US B-Schools, when it comes to work-placements. You ll hv to put ur own efforts (extra efforts if u r an overseas student) to land a job. Strathclyde career services are similar to those of other B-Schools in its category. Nothing less, nothing more!

i would say hat EADA is better know, and probably is the better choice. although ranked at the far end of the rankings, never the last, it is ranked. and adding to that, it has good accreditation(not triple, but still).
and not to mention the fact that Barcelona is much nicer then Glasgow....
