If you're going to spend a year in an MBA, you should get into the best school you can: the quality of the cohort and the experience improves massively. Durham and Lancaster, for example, are only a little harder to get into but are massively higher quality.&nbsp;<br><br>If those were the only two options, I would pick Loughborough: students are famously happy there; it's a real campus experience; much better weather; a far safer town; close to London and their London campus might add some value too.&nbsp;

The sports scene is excellent (bar recent controversy when they tried to close the gymnastics facilities - it was stopped by a grass roots student campaign)
