It's not only possible; it's highly probable at any European school than the students will have to find their roles through active networking and application rather than by placement through on-campus hiring. Even at Aston, a majority of the candidates don't get jobs in Europe, since they are mostly non-European.
Finding work in Europe is possible, but it requires a huge effort to find opportunities and, in mainland Europe, to learn a language other than English.
Audencia is a strong school: I would certainly expect a better MBA there than at Loughborough. I see they claim to have the highest number of job offers in Europe, but I would love to see more information about that. Most end up working in France and, of course, they will be French speakers. The others are mostly in the US, Spain, UK and Switzerland, but that also reflects the schools' international partnerships with other universities like Bradford and EADA.
I'd simply ask them for their placement statistics, were I you.
Dear Duncan,
Thank you again for taking the time to write this. Much appreciated.
Talking about Aston or any other Bschool in Uk for that matter, I was really surprised to see the latest rankings full of US schools. I assume it is because of the tightening of regulations with employment for non- europeans. is the job situation not looking bright for non - europeans only or are european nationals affected too? Also, if I see a Bschool in UK plunge down to the lowest point in the rankings or even be kicked out of the rankings, that does not necessarily mean that the quality of the course, faculty etc has deteriorated, does it?
Though Aston, generally is a good school isn't it? I know of someone who had an Aston MBA and managed to get a 50k job. that was not even a year ago. and he is not european.
I think, i would like to apply to audencia then and depending on what offers i have and of course employment statistics, i would make the final decision.
thank you once again.
have a Nice Day!
