Few years back Loughborough had launched their Full time MBA programs. The university ranks on top 15 of the business schools in UK. I would like to know about their Full time MBA program. The curriculum looks good and the program has an internship option coupled with the program. How well is the program received by the employers? How good is the program compared with Portsmouth's MBA (Bschool ranks around 40 in UK but seems to be well established).

I think you are referring to undergraduate rankings. Neither of these are really strong as MBA providers, but I think they both have AMBA accreditation. Loughborough is clearly the better university, but the MBA experiences perhaps won't be too different. What are your goals? Why these schools?

Hi Duncan. I referred to the guardian rankings as a whole. I am looking for two year programs which gives the scope of learning enterprise management, business intelligence and marketing. I would also like to get some work experience in the UK and so the mba with internship option will be a right choice I think. This school also has triple accreditation which made me think of it as a right option. Please do let me know your views on it. I have 5.5 years of experience in IT industry and I would like to establish myself as a business analyst or business consultant in IT sector. Thanks in advance.

The Guardian rankings, as a whole, assess undergraduate programmes. See for example http://www.theguardian.com/news/datablog/2014/jun/03/undergraduate-university-guide-2015-download-the-guardian-tables and http://www.ukeas.com/ukstudy-school-ranking.php
I think this is the first year of the 15-months Loughborough MBA. I think you'd have a more secure outcome if you attended a better MBA. Try How to use LinkedIn to find the best school www.find-mba.com/board/33571

Don't be mislead about that internship marketing, you won't find any internship opportunity. Its from someone who tried the programme and knows the facts behind the scene. Don't waste your money on something doesn't pay off.

Hello I am Dr Donna Champion, Director of MBA Programmes at Loughborough University. Only one MBA student did not get placed at a company last year (which was the first year we offered internships) and the reason that student has not yet found a placement are complex and not for discussion in an open forum.
If you have any queires about the programme or the Internship do get in touch with us on [email protected]
We wish you luck, rajarajan_msec with your future studies
Best wishes
