Cranfield is the obvious choice: it's very strong, open to older candidates and has a good network in the oil and energy industry. The University of Aberdeen is not accredited but RGU's Aberdeen Business School is. Warwick and the University of Edinburgh are also strong options. UEBS has a senior cohort, and a very powerful network. It's also very strong on renewable energy and carbon finance.

From Aberdeen got an offer but is not accredited.
From Edinburgh I did not have an offer. Actually, the interview was a bit awkward.
From Strathclyde got an offer and a scholarship.
From Loughborough got an offer and scholarship.

Also from Kingston, Surrey and Brunel as well.
They were my first options initially for proximity,
as well as Reading, but this year they do not offer MBA full-time...?!

Cranfield is still my first option as I`ll have interview and exam
(I do not have a GMAT score) by mid July (couldn't do it sooner).
But I doubt if I will get a scholarship, and compared to others the fees are much higher.

The rankings I've check out are not MBA specifically, but management undergraduates and taken like just a quick reference.
Maybe they are not the best rankings to look at, but can be used to contrast with FT.

Actually I could have applied to IESE, ESADE or even EADA as I am from Barcelona, but moved to UK as a career choice.

Please don't use those undergraduate rankings unless you are taking an undergraduate degree.

England is a small country. Everywhere is close to everywhere. The jobs are not only in London: indeed there is more competition in London than elsewhere (that's why Strathclyde is so great at placement). I live in Edinburgh and travel every week for two days in London. It's not hard. A fun location but a bad outcome is worse than a dull location with a great outcome.

The general advice would be not to take the age difference too seriously. There will be younger students in your cohort but it's not usually a big deal. You'll have something to bring to the table, as will they. And start early with time management! But that's advice for any incoming MBA student...
