Hello Everybody/All,
at the moment i am very confused. There are a lot of MBA programmes in London, but every university requires work experience.
At the moment i am studying Business Information Technology in Frankfurt and 2008 i will get my bachelor of science. After that i aim to do my master in london! I was not able to find an mba programme for international students without work experience!
Do you know some mba programmes in UK/London, which requires no work experince?
Please help me, i am desperated!

Hello all.
I am currently studying BE Aerospace IIIrd year in India. I have maintained 7.5 GPA and hope to pass out with that.I am interested in pursuing MBA General in Europe or US.But i am searching for an option without work experience.I am yet to give GMAT and IELTS,though I am preparing for both. What grades do i need to get in these tests to get myself to a good B-school(without work ex i.e.). As the aerospace scene here is not very fruitful----low scope-low salary ----i cannot think of working for an organisation to gain experience. Please guide me fellow threaders as I'm in a fix!Going through the website of all accredited schools, i find none with intake minus work ex.I'll be extremely grateful if someone guides me to MBA glory..

Hi Meenal,
I would suggest you not to opt for MBAs which require no prior work-experience.You will have to settle for B-Grade business school. None of the reputed B-Schools offers MBA without Work-Experience.
Best option for you will be to apply for MSc Management courses at reputed Business Schools!

i must agree with this - most MBA programs which do not require work ex are not really worth it! do an MSc instead, or gain some work experience.....

I have maintained 7.5 GPA and hope to pass out with that.
> GPA is universally graded on a 5 point scale measure..7.5 means (if I am not mistaken) 75%...thats 1:1 in UK or 3.2 (approx) in USA ; you are in good standing provided you dont have any backlogs and have decent extracurriculars+awards
But i am searching for an option without work experience.
>MBA without experience is utopia...well some Unis do dole out some concoction but its better not to drink that. If you dont have experience (more or equal to 5 yrs) you have to look for MS (in USA) or MSc (in UK) degrees...Some MS/MSc degrees got special requirement in terms of work-ex and GRE/GMAT & Toefl/Ielts score requirement so do your research carefully.
What grades do i need to get in these tests to get myself to a good B-school(without work ex i.e.)
>Generally 650+ in GMAT or 1250+ in GRE is a good score with 4.0 in AWA. For Toefl IBT a good score is 105+ and for IELTS its band 7.5+

Hi..
I'm from India.
I'd be completing my Bachelors' Degree in a stream completely unrelated to any kind of Management or Business. I intend to pursue my higher studies in Management right after I get my Bachelor's Degree. I have a few doubts regarding that.
1. Since I'd be having no work experience at all, is it advisable to do a Master's course in Management (MSc. Management or MSM)..?
2. Incase I do Master's in Management, is it good to work for some 5-6 years and then do MBA?
3. Or as I least prefer.. Should I work for 2 years right away after my Bachelors' Degree and do MBA.. (least prefered because I believe that I'm not yet ready for work).
P.S. I'm in no hurry to complete my MBA.

hymz in my opinion
1)not really - it's not bad per say but don't expect it to get you promoted without experience
2)yes absolutely
3)no one is every ready for their first day at work - just get in and start - that is the only way you'll be ready. It will occur over time
A few years in - then pursue your MBA (part-time is good so that you can continue to make money)

Well as an alternative one of my faculty has advised me this..
"Before doing any management course it's better to have a minimum work experience of 2 years. So during campus placements try for the easy job so that i can prepare further during my work time and get the required work experience and mental skills"
Is it advisable..??

ravikant2007, by doing an MBA that doesn't guarantee anything. You are just coming out of university with no experience, so you'll need to work your way up from an entry level job based on the industry you'd like to specialize in. There is no assurance of a job. If you apply for an entry level job, you will be competing with a much larger sample of applicants. An MBA is good to have but it is better when coupled with 5-10 years of experience. Believe me it makes a big difference. You understand the concepts/theories at a whole new level. You can better integrate your learnings in class with real life work experiences. Your best bet is to find a job. Work for 5-8 years. Make some money. Then go back and do your MBA. Or do your MBA online part-time while working. Don't get yourself into a debt hole and then have no way to pay it back.

Work Experience and the MBA: How Much is Really Necessary?
Article Aug 30, 2011
Experience isn't just about getting into business school; it's also about getting out (with a job).
