Regrettably yes, I am above the mean class age, which is rather depressing. For me the class discussions have by and large been brilliant, as people from different sectors / countries / experiences can share practical examples that are relevant to the point being discussed at the time. Occasionally the discussion can be dominated by one or two more vocal people, but it is then largely due to the skill and experience of the lecturer to manage this appropriately.
For me this has been the best bit of the course. All my core modules were with the same cohort, sometimes with a couple of people from other cohorts or DL/fulltime for whatever reason. I did my 1st elective a couple of weeks ago which was with a very mixed group as jpbrooksuk has alluded to in the previous post. This brought a greater richness to class discussions as it meant getting to know a whole new bunch of people, making the experience generally much richer.
If you access the Warwick Business School website I think it gives info about which modules are available in which format - might help.
Hope this helps! :)
