MiF Prospect - Associate rank?

Hello !

May I know if MiF like (Investment/Asset/Wealth Management degree) will help a person get an Associate rank directly at financial services firms such as JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, HSBC, Barclays, etc.?

I've seen some people working as Analysts despite holding a MiF. What's the point of getting a MiF if they have to work in a role that bachelor degree graduates work in? (no offense, I'm just eager to know)

MiF degrees will generally lead to analyst roles. People in analyst roles tend to have masters degrees in some countries, where the MSc is generalised. Very few people will go from a MiF into an associate role: that is typically for people with a few years experience more.

The value of the qualification is to make you more valuable. A masters degree was never required for any job I had, but my MSc and MBA certainly made it easier.

Thank you sir. Another thing is that I've seen most MiM graduates get a managerial role like manager after completing the degree. Why do MiF graduates need to start from the bottom (I guess Analyst is the starting rank at the companies I've mentioned) while MiM holders get assistant manager/manager ranks instantly?

I don't really think that is true, but job titles don't always reflect how desirable a role is. A social media manager might earn half as much as a IB analyst. Which role would you rather have?

I see sir. I was having some confusion about banking career's equivalent ranks to others as I am not quite familiar with banking sector.
