MSC Engineering Mgt or MBA

I am an engineer with atleast 3 years working experience, Which is better MSC/MEM Engineering mangement or an MBA??? Wanted to go far an MBA but was told a MSC in Engineering Management is better.... Pls your advice as I have little time to apply since session starts in september..
