Yeah, I would agree with maybe looking at something more generically in the finance realm than an official "FinTech" program. While these programs are being pitched as the 'new thing,' you can get similar content in a robust MSc Finance. I know you're not looking at schools outside of the UK, but you can check out the curriculum from the HEC Paris International Finance MSc to see what I mean: you can take classes on modeling, analysis, finance engineering, etc.
With a specialized MSc you may get a bit more 'intro to programming' style classes, which may or may not help you, depending on your background. Topics like predictive analytics, while helpful, do not require full-on courses to get up to speed on.
