Hi Friends....I am from India and need your advice on choosing right BSchool.
1) I have secured admission in DL MBA Jan 2012 session from Warwick Business School.
2) I am from India having 7yrs of work exp in IT and I have also secured admission from
a) Imperial DLMBA,
b) Cass Executive Dubai MBA 2011,
c) Executive Dubai MBA from Bradford.

I just want to know how much points will u give to above mentioned MBA\'s on a scale of 1 to 10 of which, 1 being lowest and 10 being highest, considering parameters like placements,content,support,alumni network
Please help me in joining the right program.
I am getting confused in choosing right program and right univ for me.Please can u assist me in choosing correct program for me.

for FT MBA i would suggest Warwick.

Congrats on your admission to Warwick. As far as ranking these schools, I wouldn't even consider Bradford - unless as a safety, but since you've already got an offer from Warwick that would be irrelevant. Here's how I'd rank the others in terms of reputation:

1. Imperial
2. Cass
3. Warwick

Distance learning programs are generally tricky in that they don't offer a lot of concrete networking opportunities. This has been shifting recently but it's up to you to decide if a distance program would be right for you.

Are you planning on working in Dubai after you graduate?

Well Ralph, I also have EMBA offer from Cass in Dubai and I am willing to work in Dubai or any other city in Middle East in near future.

Ralph can u let me know what is difference btw MBA and Executive MBA?
Can u tell me on what parameters have u rated Bradford so lowly as I also have admit from Bradford?

Amol, an Executive MBA is a part-time MBA aimed at people with more work experience than full-time MBAs.

Ralph, I think you're comparing the schools but not the programmes. As a university Imperial is much stronger than Warwick, and same is true when comparing the full-time MBAs.

Students on the Imperial DL programme gave it really bad ratings in the Economist survey - especially in terms of its low completion rate. It's a programme originally designed for the London External programme, which has a very low cost.

Warwick has a really longer and deeper experience in distance learning MBAs, and the programme allows people to come to the school for an week each semester and there are further block weeks available.

If an EMBA was available I would choose Cass, but for distance learning I would choose Warwick over Imperial.

Yes, that's what I meant.

Compare to Strathyclyde how is Bradford, because both are equivalent, but the later is a bit cheaper.

I think these are pretty comparable programs. Both schools have been in the country since the 90s, and have a chance to develop their networks. I'd look closely at the curriculums, because there are some differences: I think Bradford offers a wider range of curriculum options, like a course in change management, one in e-business, etc.
