Hello all,
I find myself in a dilemma right now. My plan is to pursue my MSc from UK in Business Information Management. I have applied to 8 Universities and have received response from 7 of them. Below I'm listing the univ. name & courses:
1) Warwick: ISM- Unconditional
2) Lancaster: ITMOC- Unconditional
3) Strathclyde: BITS- Unconditional
4) St Andrews: Mang. & Info. Technology- Unconditional
5) King's London: Computing, IT Law & Mang- Unconditional
6) Southampton: Knowlegde Info. Manag. Systems- Uncond
7) Manchester: Information Systems- Reject
8) City University London: BSAD- Pending
My preference is towards Lancaster ITMOC as the course structure is the best I have seen among the lot but the location is a concern. I also have an inclination towards Warwick because of the phenomenal reputation which it carries but the course structure is a little less appealing than the Lancaster one. King's has it location advantage & reputation but I came to know that the computing dept is not strong. St Andrews & Strath makes me think about lack of job prospects in Scotland.
I will be highly obliged if you ppl can pour in your suggestions and help me decide with the course selection.
Regards,
Sreejith
