Need help in choosing right Full time MBA in UK

Dear Active users,
I am bit confused while chosing right B-school for aspiring for a MBA program in UK. Just to brief about my profile that I am an enginering graduate in Computer Sc and have 14+ yrs exp in IT, currently working for an IT organization in India.

As I have heard that GMAT is a gateway to a good reputed business school. Do we have any good reputed B-school not require GMAT and also offer good quality of education and career prospects?
Got few suggestions for :
1. University of Nottingham
2. Henley Business school, (merged into Univerisity of Reading since 2008)
3. University of Durham
4. University of Glasgow
5. University of Bradford
6. University of Strathclyde

Another confusion is which is the right ranking system to check with? Every ranking system has different criteria for raking the univerisity

Hope you can understand me. Pls advise.

Ashish,

Strathclyde didn't weaver GMAT for me but did with IELTS but u never know. It's ur overall profile that matters and GMAT is just an elimination criteria. Henley is also a good business school from a curriculum pov.

There are few things you need to dig deep into before choosing a school.
1. Program structure and specialisations available
2. Alumni network as this is gonna be a vital component for ur job search
3. Companies that frequently recruit and what they look for

Rankings are never picture perfect because it depends on what data the alumni were able to give during the survey and that could be deceptive but still, the ones that feature in the FT and economist rankings are all either Tier1/Tier2 universities. Lancaster offers one of the best MSc in Management courses but requires a GMAT for atleast 600.
