Anyone done the Open University MBA? I've just signed up for it.
Has a good ranking and seems to be flexible with fitting it around work.

Any advice/comments are welcome

The MBA was ranked briefly by the FT but in recent years it hasn't been represented. Have you considered the consistently-ranked online MBAs in the UK? Warwick comes up in discussion quite a bit, is ranked #2 in the FT's Online MBA Ranking, and has great salary stats.

As far as I can tell, OU doesn't even publish their post-MBA salary stats. Durham and Bradford have online MBAs that might also work for you.

You should always consider other options. The OU MBA is well designed but outcomes are better from the FT ranked online MBAs.

However maybe somebody can suggest some alternatives. A triple accredited online MBA in the same price range - around £20,000. Thank you!

I have a friend how is doing the MBA on coursera ( with illinois) he said that most of the materials are being delivered via recorded videos and there is limitation of books and printed materials.

I also need to ask about Edinburgh business school online MBA, if anyone can help please?

Perhaps your friend is taking the Coursera-only courses and is not registered for the Illinois part of the programme.

EBS is a terrible option. Stick to schools with at least one of the triple crown accreditations. Don't confuse EBS for the University of Edinburgh Business School, which is totally different.

For the Illinois iMBA program, you need to do a certain amount of the content through Coursera's 'specializations' which are indeed based on pre-recorded videos and are completely open access.

Once you've done a certain number of these - 6 or 7 of them, I believe - then you can apply to the more serious MBA classes, which are more expensive and do require you to go through an admissions process.

There are four different ways into the iMBA. You can go in directly to the Illinois element too, for example.
