What are your career goals?

London is hard to beat if you want to land a job in finance, and I think that most UK MBA students go there post-graduation. But other parts of the UK offer different job scenes. Some good info here:

THank you ralf. Useful link. My career goal is not in financial industry. I'm hoping to switch career into marketing, as in which field, it is still hard to determine as of now.

So in Lancaster there are energy firms and defense contractors; and Cambridge has a good entrepreneurial startup scene.

More competition too, especially from all the foreign talent in London. If you add up the handful of UK minor marketing hubs (Birmingham, Edinburgh, Guildford, Oxford and Reading) they might have 20% as many vacancies as London but only 10% as many marketers.
