Duncan, I did get interview invitation from University of Bath (UOB) and University of Dublin (UCD), and I was wondering if I did really good on these interviews and get admitted to UOB and UCD also. What will you suggest then from these then Henley, Strathclyde, UOB or UCD?

Generally I would reply on the salary data, and the FT international mobility score: it's a very good guide to outcomes.

Duncan, you said look at salary data but I think this salary data can be misleading because with Strathclyde around 30% students are from Asia (mainly India) and in India average salary is very much less than the average salary in Europe or USA. (I am from India and my salary at present is around GBP 12000 per year and I think this is the kind of highest with 7 years of experience in India. I think average would be around GBP 8000)

As per FT, salary increase is around 100% so I think it is because students before going to MBA had less salary hence same was reflected in increase after MBA.

Am I thinking so much or this is valid hypothesis?

Of course most students on all of these courses will be international students, and most of those will be non-EU students, and most of those will be from India. I don't think that's really a difference about Strathclyde, is it? A 100% salary increase is actually pretty typical for the top 100 FT programmes.

It might be that you are right, but to do that you'd need to find that what percentage of the graduates of these MBA programmes was returning to India. Remember, Strathclyde has a very high score for international mobility.

Yeah, I talked to 3 alumni from Strathclyde and I am really impressed the way they all have mentioned good things about Strathclyde. Yes, around 25% students are from India at Strathclyde business school.

Yeah, I checked about international mobility rank, it has around 20th in the world. I believe that is quite impressive!

Now, Duncan can you please help me decide where to go from the following b-schools, as I have offer from there schools. (Ok, I promise this is my final call :) )

Durham Business School (UK)

WHU (Germany)
CEU (Hungary)
Ashridge (UK and ) University of St.Gallen (Switzerland) - not confirmed yet but I am expecting Yes from these also.

From all my research and analysis Strathclyde (UK) seems better for me and I have decided to go there only.

Update -

I did get 50% scholarship from Henley Business School (Not ranked in FT Global and 53rd in FT European college ranking) and I did get into Ashridge Business School(Not ranked in FT Global but 45th in FT European college ranking), Durham Business School(ranked 97th in FT Global and 52nd in FT European college ranking), Aston Business School (Not ranked in FT Global but 47th in FT European college ranking) and University of Bath (ranked 84th by FT global and 50th in European college ranking) also. I already have offer from Strathclyde Business School (SBS) and CEU Business School.

After 50% scholarship from Henley total fees would be around GBP 13000 and with rest of them is around GBP 25000.

What you guys suggest now? Is it okay to save GBP 12000 now or shall I go for highest ranked B-school after taking loan from bank (Strathclyde Business School) for long term benefits? Or it doesn't matter much when college is not among top 50 or so?

I have also offer from Strathclyde and Henley. Henley has offered scholarship of 15000 (i think I wrote a great essay). Strathclyde has not offered any scholarship so far. However, in a recent development Cass has offered me a place as well. No scholarships. I had a joyful interview and the same went on for around 45 minutes which was longer than anything I have gone through so far. But honestly the offer did surprise me due to low GMAT. I an now in a fix myself. They do have a funding programme of collateral free loan where I have applied.

Yes, as always I have read that post of yours and its intriguing, reading without which Henley would seem a certainty. But I am myself from that school of view now. As a former student of Cass and as someone who is into thick of these things including studies at many school, how would you rate Cass experience, curriculum and development of students in terms of employability as compared to other schools? Henley is crtainly not there in FT ranking and perhaps that says it all but during interview I asked them this question and their reply was that a very small cohort does not allow them to participate in rankings.

30 is the minimum size for the rankings, and Henley is surely larger than that.

I studied in Cass's sister school of business computing at City University's main campus, not at the Cass school. We had some teachers from CUBS, as it was called then, and they were pretty good. But employability is really shown by the ranking data, and you have already noted the challenging situation for non-EU students at UK schools.

I struggle to see how Henley can have the sort of career support which full-time MBAs need, in that case. I attended a course there with some MBAs, and I did not get the feeling that placement was especially strong there.
