NO, UK is better

Trinity College is only accredited by AMBA and it is not ranked by the big names to date(was ranked at 70 by the FT in 2007). since Ireland is a small country, i guess that it would probably be recognized by recruiters in Ireland, but i don't know much about its reputation outside the country. it has been around quite long though, so maybe it is know outside.....
if you are going to study in Ireland, you should probably try and get admitted to University College Dublin: Smurfit, which is supposed to be a good one.

It's neither bad nor great! An above average B-School!

TCD is an intensive one year program. The professors are all highly respected and the course is rigorous, about 70-80 hours per week. There are outside speakers brought in, Communication Director for Kellogg, CEO of Ryan Air, ect for masterclass lectures. The degree is generalist. The program is a full year with 16 classes over 2 semesters, and then a company (consulting style) project.

Only a third of the class is Irish, with the other 2/3 from around the globe. This allows for a unique international experience.

The administration is lacking and there is no recruitment initiative. The school is lesser known nor ranked in large part to its small class acceptance. Only about 30-35 students. This adds even further to the program and forces learned patience through intense group projects.

In Ireland the school is highly regarded, but the quality and rigor of the course is know lesser throughout the world.

Thanks for the insights on the Trinity MBA.

Kindly share your thoughts on the future prospects of Trinity & Lancaster MBA for someone who is looking to work in Tech consulting firms for a few years in UK & Ireland.

MY Profile Brief - I've more than four years of workex in Creative & E-Learning Industry and a GMAT of 710. I know my best bet was more on the lines of Cranfield or maybe Insead. But I missed that bus.

P.S. - The LinkedIn route favors Lancaster, but the possibility of getting an extra year of Visa gives Trinity pretty good leverage. Your inputs please.

Why not apply for the next intake at better-ranked schools? Certainly with that GMAT score you could get into something better.

Actually, I'm the kind of guy who loves minnows & dark horses. I don't think that I'll be able to survive a B school where everyone wants to be the next President of US or UK, this is why I always prefer a football team full of above average players over a star studded team (I'm sorry for the ill timed humor :) ).
By tech consulting firms, I meant boutique & tier 2 consulting firms that focus on Technology & Business sector (people may call them IT consulting firms).

However, any feedback on the Edinburgh University Business School? Their 16 month MBA program looks great & contains all the ingredients of a solid MBA program.

Yes, the UEBS program is fine, it's triple accredited and ranked in the Economist, but like Trinity the program won't have much reach internationally. I still think you're capable of getting into a better school.
