All the UoL degrees from the international programme lead to UoL degrees. Graduates are UoL alumni, not Queen Mary alumni. I see no way the federal uni can get AACSB accredition, since it does not have its own academic direction.

Thank you. That’s unfortunate. This program would have worked well for me. I live in the uS but work a lot in the UK. I would like to get my MBA in the UK, but I would prefer to go to a school that is somewhat familiar to Americans. University Of London has the most recognizable name from the online programs I am interested in.

Are they even an accredited university? It’s just a little confusing to me. :(

It's like getting a degree from SUNY online or the University of Wisconsin federation: from the parent federal university. Of course it has full UK accredition, just very few on campus courses taught by itself outside the Schools of Advanced Study and the Paris campus.

Understood l, however the university of Wisconsin online MBA, which is also taught by partner schools, is AACSB accredited. The degree is granted by the university Of Wisconsin system, not the parter schools.

Are you sure? I think you have to register through one of the schools. That is also how the Georgia Web MBA works.

Maybe University of Wisconsin has its own academic direction for the MBA, like some of the UoL own programs? Also, La Crosse, Eau Claire etc are "Campuses"

Or you may be registered at Eau-Claire, the managing partner where the graduation takes place (makes sense, but I can't say for sure)

In any case, University of London is very real and very much accredited by the UK system (the equivalent to regional accreditation of the U.S. system). They just don't have accreditation of one of the three international bodies that accredit specifically business schools

I am/was very interested in pursuing the program. With a new baby, work, and crappy GPA for undergrad, it appears my choices are very limited... I am hoping that the Global MBA can be a good boost career wise.

Most other online MBA seems to have requirements I am unable to reach (I don't have managerial experience and my undergrad GPA is only 2.5.... I used a lot of old/low grade electives to reach the requirement to graduate), and most are usually out of my price range. What options do I even have?

The Coursera MBAs are good options.

In general, I think that online programs have a much different value proposition than full-time MBAs. Full-time MBAs are much better for students looking for larger career leaps, whereas online programs are typically designed for those who are already well-set in their careers and more modest about their goals.
