Are 3 years of work experience enough to get admitted in a top business school? (For example: Cass, Oxford, and Warwick)
Almost every BS requires 3 years of managerial work experience. But there is a huge difference between the requirements and the reality!! Nearly 5 years of work experience are mandatory to get admitted in one of the above mentioned schools.
I think the majority of the applicants have a bachelor degree (3-4 years), and only a few of them have a Master or PhD.
In my case: I have a Diploma in Engineering (Diplm. Eng = 5 Years) and a master (2 years ---> so the whole duration of the education: 7 years). If I didn?t study for the master, I would have 5 years of work experience at the time of enrollment.
Do you think my application would be considered (with 3 years of work experience)? Do you think a good level of education is a suitable compensation?
Thanks.
