I have often read mails on this board similar to yours, a young Indian student without any work experience, wishing to do the best MBA in the US, but without real financial resource therefore needing a full scholarship...

My first advise is: Look a bit around on this site, go through the board posts about US b schools, once you have identified one or two schools that could be appropriate for you, check out their websites about admission criteria and scholarships.

Once you have a clearer idea of what is possible, come back to the board to ask some more precise questions. I can help you out with further information.

But one thing I can tell you right now: You will be accepted to one of the best schools and able to achieve a scholarship only if you are a brillant student with very good GPA and GMAT.

Well dear Wishmemak,
I already tried to help you, guiding you for your first steps you should undertake. Did you do some research then? You might understand that with more than 700 MBA programmes in the US, you will have to know more precisely what you want. Really, without some initiative from your side in the beginning, in order to narrow your choice, I can't help you more.

As for the scholarships, do you have the profile I mentioned, are you an excellent student? Have your results been far above the average, etc? You should consider Harvard only in that case..

Their definition of GPA:
"Stands for Grade Point Average, the most common quantitative measure of overall undergraduate academic achievement."
