My BTech grades were 64.5%. As for budget, I can afford around $50,000. Maybe a 1 year MBA would be a good choice for me?

There's not much at that price. Even one-year options, like the offerings from Cornell - Johnson, are much more costly.

The MBA at Buffalo, however, is basically within your budget. It's ranked by Businessweek. Same with BYU. Other options you might take a look at these:

Missouri - Trulaske (it's a bit above your budget, but not by much)
Texas A&M - Mays
Wisconsin (also a bit above your budget, but well-regarded, generally)

Can anybody advise whether these business schools, which offer accredited MBAs, are good budget choices for international students?

These schools don't have a lot of information aimed at international students on their websites, so I thought I would ask here.

This tier of business school usually has MBA programs that are geared towards local working professionals rather than international students. It follows that they will not have the same infrastructure for international students, including job placement services, visa help, etc., that a higher-profile business school would have.

A big practical matter you'd have to address from the beginning is that by doing one of these programs -- most of which are part-time -- you'd be able to actually get a student visa. Talk to the schools about that, and while you're at it you should ask them about their resources for international students.

I see. I will check with these schools with regard to visas and career resources. Do you have recommendations for American schools in this budget range which are better suited to international students? I am very confused.

Not in this budget range. The lowest you'd probably want to go, in terms of budget, is around $50,000, with schools like Texas - Mays, BYU, and SUNY Buffalo. However, a little more puts you in reach of schools like Wisconsin and Pittsburgh - Katz, which would be arguably better for international students than the less expensive options.

Ok thank you. What about business schools that have MBAs which offer scholarships or grants for international students? I would also be willing to pursue a part-time work study job or teacher assistantship.
