how bad is a 4.5 awa

Hi

I just got my GMAT score, and I have 51 math and 36 verbal (overall 730, 96 percentile)
however my AWA score is lower than what I expected and hoped.

I am international student and I graduated from UPenn engineering with 3.6 gpa. and ı will have around 2.5 years of full time work experience at matruculation.
I am aiming top schools like harvard, stanford, columbia etc.

Do you think low AWA will cause any problems? Or should I just retake the GMAT ( I am not an excellent writer so I suppose I would get a 5 or maximum 5.5 if I can find the time to study. ( I had already taken the GMAT before and had a 5 but had lower overall score)

what are your suggestion.

I think it's fine. You don't have to retake it. Your overall GMAT is already high enough. Which university you will apply for? Have you thought of George Washington University School of Business? It's a great place to study MBA.

I will most probably apply to Harvard, Wharton, Stanford, Columbia, Chicago and NYU.

I know George Washington is a good school but I have to narrow my list down and if I ll add additional schools I am thinking of northwestern, MIT and Yale
