Hello, if I understand you right, you both want to do an MBA, at the same University, with least financial pressure possible? With your profile and your GMAT you are in a good position to chose among various MBAs, that is a big plus if you want to be in the same school.

You should check out different options: You can either do a full time 1 year (or 2 year) MBA and take up a loan, if that is not to risky. If you don't want to do this, you can do a part time, or, with your work exp. even an EMBA might be possible. In that case you will still earn money while doing your program, and your expenses will be kept low compared to the first option.

We are looking to study in US. We were considering location for both of us. One which offers a 2year program for my husband, while a 1 year program for myself.
Any ideas about which could be the best school or univ for us?

I see, an MBA in the US.
you should first check out the top tier programs in the US. On the webpages you'll get average GMAT etc, so you can evaluate your chances beforehand, but anyways, I think your chances are good.

As for your plan to do a one-year MBA, not all schools offer that, since 2 years is the regular length of a US MBA. Maybe you can go through the posts on this board regarding the US, there has been quite some discussion going on about the issue of 1-year MBA programs.

Why do you want to do a one-year program?
