Part time MBA at Ross or full time MBA?

I am considering doing my MBA on a part time basis at the Ross School of Business (I live in Ann Arbor). It seems like it's a respected program, and I'd be able to work while I do it.

But I'm curious - would it be better in the long run to do a full time MBA at a different school? I'm pretty sure I could get into schools like Ohio State, Emory, or the University of Maryland. These would be a lot more to invest, obviously, considering lost wages and relocation.

That depends on your goal. If you want to stay in the same firm, or in the same industry, and you're already earning more than the typical graduate from those schools then take the part-time programme. If not, go full-time.

I just applied to Fisher and to Emory - Emory for round 4. Not sure which I would choose if both came through - given any thought to your decision? I'm excited, but nervous.

At this point, I think I would like to apply to the full time program at Emory and potentially one other school like Ohio. I think I am going to wait until the 2015 application cycle opens, because I want to improve my GMAT score and have better chances for scholarships.

Agreed. Their Marketing curriculum looks top-notch and current. But the Ohio State program also features robust marketing curriculum, and since I went to high school in Ohio I could get in-state tuition, which would be substantially less than Emory. Good thing I have some time to make the decision.

I am planning a Master Degree. Since in my country the MBA does not have the same degree, I am looking for a Master in Arts or Science focused on Management or Public Administration. I don't know how much is asked from the student in a part-time or full-time Master and in a one or two-year program?

One-year program means that I will have classes all day? What means full-time? I completed a college in Australia full-time anda had from 6 to 8 hours a day of classe for 1 1/2 year.
