Profile Evaluation: Sales Professional

I am wondering if there's anybody out there who could do a profile evaluation for me and help me narrow down my MBA program choices.

I am a sales professional with about 7 years of work experience in roles in various fields. I do not have any management experience.

I want to use an MBA to move into a finance role, and hopefully get some management skills.

Here are some more details:

American, male, 30
I finished my undergraduate degree in 2008. My GPA was 3.2.
My projected GMAT score is 640.

Can anybody advise about which MBA programs I have a good chance of getting into? It would be much appreciated.

What are your constraints? Financial? Location preferences?

While your 640 GMAT score is relatively strong, for the best programs in finance you'll probably want something a bit higher, with a strong quant score. Finance is a highly quantitative field, after all. What does your Verbal / Quant score look like?

Without knowing more about your specific goals, I'd say generally check out schools like Rochester - Simon, Georgia - Terry, Tulane, BYU -some of those schools might still be reaches for you based on your GMAT score.

The next tier up would be Notre Dame, Cornell, McCombs.
