Hey all
I am Finance, legal, stock Market regulations consultant from India. Do not get carried away with the big words was just doing small work in above mentioned areas. i have approx 6 Years of work experience in several public and private companies in India. Post that ran my own start up for 2 years in India in Educational field.

I want to get an Affordable yet valuable qualification from USA. I am Confused as to
Should i go for MBA or Masters ?
Which qualification would be remunerative and growing in USA ?
I am confused between field of Finance, Accounting, Risk Management or Information Technology.
Mainly i want to study go back to school and set a foundation for my new career in any new country like USA. Legal Studies will be my last priority .

The USA is the least affordable place in the world, surely, for graduate study. What would you call affordable? Either way, finance is remunerative and valuable.

With 6 years of work experience you'll probably want to go for an MBA rather than another master's degree.

I suggest you think about your career goals and then figure out what schools you should apply to based on that. Affordability is usually not the best factor to base your decision on, since this is an investment, after all.

In terms of value, certainly the FT-ranked schools would be ideal in this respect. Wharton/Columbia/Booth would be great for finance (and probably accounting as well...) A Bay Area school like Stanford or Haas would be good for tech... Maybe NYU for risk management...
