The Princeton Review Publishes "Best Green MBA" Ranking

University of Oregon leads the ranking; Yale comes in second

The Princeton Review has published a "Best Green MBA" ranking, which lists the top 10 US business schools that help prepare students for careers in sustainability and corporate social responsibility.

The University of Oregon's Lundquist College of Business leads the ranking. The school's MBA program offers a track in Sustainable Business Practices, which covers a wide range of relevant topics through courses like "Industrial Ecology" and "Clean Energy Finance."

Yale's School of Management comes in second. While Yale's MBA doesn't offer a specialization in sustainability or CSR, the core MBA program includes a number of relevant electives.

Taking third place is the University of Denver's Daniels College of Business, while the University of Vermont's School of Business Administration comes in fourth. In 2014, Vermont launched an MBA program in Sustainable Entrepreneurship, which includes a hands-on practicum component with a local business.

The ranking is "based on students' assessments of how well their school is preparing them in environmental/sustainability and social responsibility issues, and for a career in a green job market," according to the Princeton Review.
