ESADE and Aalto University to Launch a Joint Executive MBA

Students in the new EMBA will study in Singapore, Vietnam, Helsinki, and Barcelona

Spain's ESADE and Finland's Aalto University Executive Education have announced the launch of a joint Executive MBA program.

The new EMBA program, which is set to launch this December, will focus on innovation and entrepreneurship in international settings. Indeed, the program is decidedly global; students will spend three weeks in Singapore, one week in Vietnam, one week in Helsinki, and three weeks in Barcelona.

In the inaugural intake, those eight intensive weeks will be spread over 19 months between December 2017 and June 2019.

The EMBA will cover a variety of topics. Modules include "Financial Accounting and Financial Statement Analysis," "Design Thinking," and "Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability," among others.

To apply for the program, potential students should have at least ten years of work experience as well as a bachelor's degree.

The two business schools already offer a few strong EMBA programs separately. ESADE's Global Executive MBA program, which it offers in partnership with Georgetown University, is currently ranked in the Executive MBA Ranking from the Financial Times, as is Aalto University's EMBA program.
