Chicago - Booth Announces New Accelerated Joint MBA / JD Program

New offering allows students to complete both programs in just three years

The University of Chicago's Booth School of Business and Law School have announced plans to offer an accelerated joint MBA / JD program.

Through the new program, students can complete both degrees in just three years, saving one year.

In the new program, students will spend the first year at the Law School. During their second year, students will take most of their classes at Booth. The third year will be spent taking a mix of law and business courses.

The schools will continue to offer a four-year, traditional MBA / JD program, which allows for more specialized study in law and business.

Prospective students will need to complete just one application; some 15-20 students will be admitted per year.
