As an 18-month program with classes every third weekend, the class schedule minimizes time away from work and maximizes in-class and study team learning. MBA Requirement Checklist

Schulich conducts a holistic evaluation of applications, however students should meet the minimum requirements below to be qualified to apply to the MBA program.

1. An undergraduate degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with a minimum B average in the last two full years (or equivalent) of academic work.
2. Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) or Graduate Record Examination (GRE)
3. Minimum two years full-time post-graduation work experience
4. Completion of the online application which requires:
   • Essays (2 written, 1 timed written, 2 video)
   • An up-to-date resume
   • Two professional references
5.  Proof of English language proficiency if studies were not completed in English.

Applicants who have completed at least two years of full-time study at an accredited university in a country (or institution) where English is the official language of instruction are not required to submit an English proficiency test.

EMBA Admission Requirements

The Kellogg-Schulich Executive MBA Program is designed for working professionals. As a result, to be considered for admission to the program, candidates should be fully employed at the time of application and are expected to be employed throughout the program. Additionally, candidates should have outstanding promise and leadership potential, at least eight years work experience with substantive management experience and possess the Canadian equivalent of a university Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. Management experience could include executive, functional and/or project management experience. Successful entrepreneurs are also encouraged to apply. All candidates are personally interviewed. EMBA Pre-Assessment

In this private, one-on-one meeting, we will discuss your eligibility for the Kellogg-Schulich Executive MBA Program as well as how the program might meet your personal or professional goals.

MBA Program Fees

Note that the average completion time for the full-time MBA program is four terms. A term is equivalent to one semester (12 weeks). The full-time Accelerated MBA may be completed in two terms. 

Estimated Program Total Domestic - $72,100 CAD

Estimated Program Total International - $117,850 CAD

EMBA Tuition Fees

The program fee for the 2025-2026 class is CDN $113,219† (Domestic) and CDN $143,412ꝉ (International). This fee can be paid in instalments and includes: tuition; required books and course materials; organized meals during class weekends at the Schulich School; organized meals and accommodation during the Schulich Launch Week; organized meals and accommodation for the required off-site modules. These off-site modules1 are the following: the Kellogg Global Network Week; a project-based trip and the Global Electives Module. Students have the opportunity to personalize the program for their individual career objectives by attending a Global Electives Module at a partner school location.

†Plus mandatory supplementary fee of CDN  $1,513. This fee is updated and charged per academic year.
1Please note that students are responsible for their travel costs for the off-site modules, including the necessary immigration or visa documentation, to enter the country of the partner school. Students are also responsible for any cost associated with complying with the vaccine or testing requirements of the destination country, including the cost associated with quarantine requirements, where applicable.

Schulich students have access to scholarships and awards which recognize excellence through academic achievement and extracurricular involvement in the School and/or wider community. Scholarships are available for both domestic and international students in the MBA program. International student awards are merit based and competitive. Students also have access to loan programs to help with financing the program.
