The Program

HEC Paris MBA: A leading global MBA

HEC Paris MBA, one of the top ranking MBA programs in the world, provides the ideal environment for students to realize their full potential and become business leaders for the 21st century. Working with our world-class professors, you will build your competencies in an energizing, collaborative community that mirrors the diversity of today's global economy.

During our 16-month program, you will develop the core management skills needed to excel in any industry, anywhere in the world. You will also go much deeper, with the flexibility to pursue international exchanges and internships, as well as specialized studies and hands-on learning in the sector of your choice.

The size of our cohort – around 300 students – guarantees a personalized learning experience that prioritizes students and their goals. Learning from professors who are at the forefront of innovative knowledge and in small groups with your peers - 94 percent international - will provide you with rich insights into the global world of business and prepare you to work with people from many different background and cultures.

The HEC Paris MBA is divided into two complementary parts: the Fundamental Phase and the Customized Phase. The 8-month-long Fundamental Phase uses a rigorous combination of academic training and hands-on learning to teach core management skills.

During the Customized Phase, students choose a specialization that matches their personal aspirations and professional objectives. You spend eight months developing expertise through wide range of options, including 7 specializations (concentrated study in some of today's most in-demand sectors), elective courses, international-exchange and double-degree programs, in-depth research projects, as well as real-world work experiences.

Our Career Center offers a comprehensive approach that leverages our students' personal strengths and values, while ensuring that their career goals align with the needs of the global job market. We encourage students to explore a variety of industries and functions, fueling career transformation. The majority of our students succeed in changing their career paths, whether it is a sector, function or geography change. 79 percent of our 2021 graduates changed sector, 67 percent changed function, and 62 percent changed location, while 40 percent changed all three aspects of their career.

HEC Paris MBA students graduate armed with a global mindset and access to a network of over 68,000 alumni in 152 countries. Within three months of graduation, 93 percent of graduates accept job offers and 69 percent secure employment outside of their home countries.
