Location

HHL graduation in the heart of Leipzig

HHL graduation in the heart of Leipzig

40,000 students call Leipzig their home. The city offers a high-quality lifestyle with very moderate living costs compared to other university cities in Germany. With its many parks, open air sports facilities, surrounding lakes with beautiful beaches, as well as many jogging and biking paths, Leipzig is certainly one of the greenest European metropoles. Also our campus is surrounded by the green banks of the White Elster river, where you can relax after classes. In your free time, you can also enjoy a drink with your classmates in one of the many cafés, restaurants or German Biergarten, or participate in one of the many cultural events.

Accommodation

Compared to other German and European cities, accommodation in Leipzig is very reasonable. Student dorms are available for international students and are located near the campus.

Student Life

The HHL Campus

The HHL Campus

The HHL-Leipzig mix sets the perfect balance for studying, networking and enjoying life:

Leipzig is a city that embraces and offers diversity. The people are friendly and open-minded and show an interest in the new and the unfamiliar and thus the city is continuously re-inventing itself. Leipzig is not only a city for work and study – it also offers plenty of distractions. Enjoy a picnic (or a morning run) in the big Clara Park, a boat tour on the river Elster, join a walk through the galleries of the Spinnerei, go hiking among blocks of flats, or surfing on the lakes in the surroundings of Leipzig, buy souvenirs at a night flea market, watch a soccer match in a 40 000 seat stadium… Leipzig makes it easy to balance out work and life.

Summer Program

Team-building in the Welcome Weeks

Team-building in the Welcome Weeks

The Welcome Weeks offer a plunge into the HHL spirit. Through a range of intercultural team-building activities, you will embark on your unforgettable HHL adventure. You will get to know classmates from all of our programs and from all corners of the world and lay the foundation for a powerful network of contacts that will support you not only through your studies but far beyond. Refresher courses on business management fundamentals will also ease you into the program, and an initial introduction to the Leipzig Leadership Model will begin your transformation into the future leader of your aspirations.

After four terms on campus, MBA students have the choice between:

_expand your global network on an internatioal study trip
_a term abroad at one of our 140 partner universities,
_work on a real-life consulting project
_test your entrepreneurial skills in a lean startup seminar
_complete an internship, be an entrepreneur in residence or make a difference with a social impact project
