The Program

The SSE MBA is given part-time over 18 months, in Stockholm, Riga, Singapore, and Silicon Valley, in English. The program stands on a general management foundation with electives at SSE's campuses and GNAM member schools. Sustainability is integrated in all courses, and we are ranked #9 (FT) in the world for ESG. Through our MBALive® pedagogy, skills training, and live projects in real organizations, you will apply your knowledge and new skills instantly. Entry Requirements
SSE MBA class of 2022
Participants in SSE MBA Executive Format are ambitious and talented executives, eager to learn more and take on new challenges. The SSE MBA is a program for people with a passion for business development and an aim to lead in international organizations.
To be eligible to the SSE MBA program, you must have the following:
- A Bachelor's degree or higher.
- A minimum of five years' relevant professional experience.
- A high level of proficiency in spoken and written English. A TOEFL or IELTS certificate is required unless English is your native language or you have studied for at least one academic year at university level on a full-time accredited program conducted in English.
Our classes represent a wide range of backgrounds. Your fellow participants will represent industries such as manufacturing, automotive, technology, life science, forestry, entertainment, telecom, retail and banking. Participants work in any size of company or the public sector, and some are entrepreneurs. Around half of the class will have a non-Swedish or multinational background, and most will have extensive international experience academically and/or professionally. Average age is 39, and average work experience 13 years. Your class will be very diverse, in all aspects. There is no typical SSE MBA participant – you are all special.
Application Procedure
Application
The application is made on-line, and application deadlines are April 30 and September 6 for the start in December 2024. The Admissions Board will consider the applicants' experience, qualifications, essays, test results and motivation and reason for studying. There is no application fee.
