The Program

Learn today. Lead tomorrow.

The Bath MBA is an exciting and challenging programme designed to give you the knowledge and skills you need to advance your career.

On the full-time MBA, our distinctive Multi-Project Suite will let you apply what you learn in the real world. Whether you are looking to fast-track your career, change industries or simply develop yourself and your knowledge, our globally-ranked MBA will provide you with an exciting and challenging year full of opportunity.

We will give you the chance to meet and work with businesses from the first week of your degree. As well as meeting employers through your project work, you will regularly hear from business speakers and learn from academics who are experts in their field. Your learning experience will be enriched by their leading research and collaborations, keeping the content fresh and relevant.

Practical learning is key to the Bath MBA. Exams are not a feature of the Bath MBA. Modules are assessed by a combination of essays, coursework, presentations, in-class participation and portfolios, enabling you to put your skills into practice. Our MBA offers optional benefits such as a paid internship at the end of the course and international business experience activities.

Designed for senior executives, our part-time Executive MBA lets you fit study around a busy professional life. The course takes two years to complete. Each module is taught over two consecutive months and you’ll spend three days at our campus each month (Thursday – Saturday).

You’ll study ten modules in a range of business areas that combine theory and practical work. You’ll have the chance to incorporate your organisation’s issues into your project work and provide real benefits to your business.

Towards the end of your Executive MBA, you will assume the role of professional consultant for your Capstone Consulting Project, a substantial piece of work worth 33% of your final degree. You’ll explore in detail a business or organisational issue that is of interest to both you and your employer. It provides an opportunity for you to integrate and apply the diverse knowledge acquired through your MBA and provide holistic solutions to a real organisational issue.

Our Leadership Development Programme runs alongside the taught EMBA components. You’ll spend one day every two months exploring a range of themes designed to build up your leadership toolkit, enabling you to make the journey from Manager to Leader.
