The Program
The Sheffield MBA is a 12-month, full-time programme over 2 semesters, with all teaching taking place on campus.
Through our teaching, you will be equipped to be a globally-minded individual, ready to undertake leadership responsibilities.
We have carefully designed this programme to provide unique learning experiences that maximise the potential of each individual as part of a close-knit community.
Experiential learning is at the heart of the Sheffield MBA. Your teaching will be delivered through lectures, seminars, workshops and talks from guest speakers. You will find that your learning is interactive and requires proactive learner engagement. Finally, you will participate in numerous live business projects during the course, giving you valuable experience of working with a range of UK companies.

The Business School
You will be taught in Sheffield University Management School’s dedicated Executive Suite, providing you with plenty of space to study, network and collaborate. Our Executive Suite comprises our executive Middleton Lecture Theatre, seating 80 people and fitted with contemporary communications technology. You will also have access to several meeting rooms.

Entry Requirements
Minimum 2.1 undergraduate honours degree.
At least three years’ full time postgraduate work experience. This should include appropriate management experience and show good career progression.
Your application may be considered if you do not meet the academic requirement but have significant professional and/or management experience.
You will be invited to attend an interview if your application is successful at the initial review stage. If you are unable to attend the interview in person we will arrange with you for this to be online.

Admission to The Sheffield MBA is highly-competitive and takes a holistic view when evaluating candidates. We are looking for talented, aspiring MBA candidates who can contribute to our selective cohort.
We use a staged admissions process to assess applications for this course. You will apply for the Sheffield MBA using our Postgraduate Online Application Form.

Financial Aid
The Sheffield MBA Scholarship Scheme
We're offering a number of scholarships worth £10,000 each for home and international students starting their MBA in 2024. No separate application is required as all MBA candidates will automatically be considered for these scholarships.
