Is the UCT GSB (university of Cape Town business school) full-time MBA still respected globally?

Good day,

Happy 2024 to everyone!

Without disclosing any personal information (as I don't believe it is relevant for my question), I am seeking general views (opinions, etc.) on the full-time MBA offered by UCT GSB. Namely, is this African-based MBA still respected globally?
Some observations from my end:
-Some management changes since the pandemic, viz., new dean (American) who seems stable in this role/position; whereas they're on their 3rd full-time MBA Director
-Revised programme commencement date to line up with the rest of the world, i.e., August start, 12-month programme. FYI, this MBA historically had a January start

Do you think the “study where you want to work” advice is still relevant in 2024? This is a genuine question and I mean no il intent by it. I noticed this is a common response. Would like to understand why.

The global business community is tiny if you define it in terms of people who take a location-neutral apporoach to business schools. There are profoundly national markets, with national cultures and regulations. Top Indian schools, as do top US schools, prepare people for their domestic national culture. You'll stumble quickly if you work like an Indian in the US or an American in India.

Top business schools place people in their domestic markets, and they place international students in the countries where those international students speak the local languages.

Furthermore, schools' brand equity is highly conditional on where their alumni are. LBS, IESE, Insead, Northwestern, HEC, Bocconi, CEIBS, Dartmouth, Duke, USC, etc, are well known in their continent but not widely known on the other side of the Atlantic.
