Hello everybody,
I am now working in Dubai for an international shipping firm. I am aiming to start an MBA next year.
My ultimate goal is to go to South Africa and settle in Johannesburg, and I am certainly considering the MBAs at Wits and Pretoria. However, my problem is that I have great potential for upward mobility at my current job, which would be helped a lot by doing an MBA. That's why I am also considering a part time or executive MBA in here in Dubai, for instance the Executive MBA at LBS.
I know that this not a lot of information, but this is the general question: does it make sense to hold onto my job and get an EMBA, in hopes of eventually moving to South Africa? Or should I make the jump now and simply hope I can land a great job after an MBA in the country?
