Former international MBA student (in Canada). I currently live in Calgary, and agree with Duncan April 04 post that applies for all of us who are looking to move to Canada/US for higher education.
While, i don't work in Oil & Gas, "Canadian Energy" sector (note i did not include US) is perhaps the only sector that even in longer term i am not bullish, it never recovered from 2014/15, foreign capital has left this space and is going to other energy jurisdictions. Lots of reasons, but they are very fundamental in nature that was exacerbated by lower global oil prices
