I want to get into University administration. Would it be wise to spend so much on an MBA from tier 3 univeristy?
The MBA works very well for making a transition and, in particular, longer MBAs with internships, projects and elective tracks help make that happen.
However, I assume that few university administration professionals have MBAs. Why not look at specific functions and take a functional master's, like finance, procurement, HR or marketing and move into the education sector that way?
