I assume you mean that you're offered a place on the Smurfit School of Business MBA at University College Dublin?

Look at http://rankings.ft.com/businessschoolrankings/global-mba-rankings-2012 and you will see that the three top MBAs in Hong Kong are much better than those two schools. If you are able to gain admission into any of those HK programmes, then you are much stronger than the average candidate at Bradford or Smurfit.

I am not sure if they have the same ranking? Unfortunately, my GPA was not good, so I dont think I could gain admission to HK programmes. I didnt take GMAT.

I think it will be the Smurfit school. Ask for a list of the faculty who taught last year.

So you are looking at programmes taught in HK? In that case, that your GMAT and get into the best school you can. It would be better for your career to leave HK and go to one of the FT ranked masters in management programmes.

If you can get 660+ on your GMAT you should look into Hong Kong University or HKUST. CUHK could be a safety school. In most cases, graduates coming out of these Hong Kong programs make better salaries than those coming out of the programs you mentioned.

Although, if you wanted to end up working in the UK, perhaps a program there would be better. What are you career goals?

Henley and Bradford are the best. I didnt think that Hull had triple accreditation. It is unranked.

Among top programs I cant recall one that is triple-a.

Surely a person doing well at Hull can go a very long way but with that money, there is no comparison with other established MBA.

Triple accreditation isn't a higher level of quality - but it is a sign of quality. Looking at top UK schools, for example, most have AMBA and EQUIS. Nine of the 21 UK schools in the UK ranking have AACSB as well: http://rankings.ft.com/businessschoolrankings/european-business-school-rankings-2011

So, while it's not a automatic indication of top-tier status, I think it is a useful sign of quality.

Agree. I don't think that triple-accreditation ever held a premium, as the previous post applied. These accreditation organizations often have different geographic focuses, which and overlap does not necessarily mean higher quality. I mean, both Harvard and Stanford are only accredited by one of the three - there's no way you can hold that against them.

Thanks to all of your advices and information :) I am now struggling between Strathclyde and Bradford, they came to my final options.. Could anyone tell me their pros? For some reasons, I couldn't find the ranking of Strathclyde in the top 100 ranking. Which one has higher ranking? It seems Strathclyde more focus on personal development than Bradford?

Strathclyde fell of the FT rankings this year. Principally, this was due to dropping post-MBA salary - which has affected Bradford as well, but that school's managed to hold on (if barely.)

As for which one to choose, you could go with Bradford, simply because it's held on in the rankings - but without knowing your career goals it's hard to say. Bradford's pretty strong when it comes to placing grads in IT/telecom and finance roles; Strath is more traditionally focused on consulting and finance.

Not sure about Strath having more focus on personal development - their curriculums are actually pretty similar, and each features some sort of project apart from the courses.
