Hi. I am a mechanical engineer from India.

I have been working with Siemens as a Commissioning Engineer for Gas turbines(Power Generation). Total of 3 years experience.

My GMAT score is 680. q48 v34

After an MBA I would either like to work as a product manager in technology marketing for companies with product lines such as those of Siemens or as a management consultant. I am considering either of these options to be a possible career path.

Given these preferences, I would like to know which programs among the ones offered in Singapore (NUS,NTU-Waseda,SMU) would best fit my career goals.

About the Nanyang-Waseda dual degree, is the tech management course from Waseda focused on IT?

I would appreciate insights(courses/electives) on each of the two paths that I mentioned.(marketing/consulting)

Product management is typically a headquarters task, so product managers will be more likely recruited from the schools the company already has relationships with. Why not research:
- Where are these firms centred?
- Which schools do they hire MBAs from
- Is the MBA a route into product management at these firms.

The answer to the questions would be Yes to all.

In particular,I was interested in the Nanyang-Waseda programe.

Could you tell me whether it is suitable for my area of interest-High capital rotating machinery -or is it focused more on IT?

I'd need to do a little research into that. High capital rotating machinery is not one of my specialities, but perhaps you can research using LinkedIn?
