Does AUZ also value a engineer grad more than a non-engineer for an MBA program. I was told by a reputed education consultant of the same.

Which school now?

If you're talking about Australia schools in general, I doubt that they'll value a certain degree over another; instead, it will be about what goals you have and how your previous and future academic experience will help you meet them.
