PR is Australia solely depends on the points you accumulate with your entire portfolio.<div>That being said, doing an MBA or any masters in Australia, will give you additional points towards your PR. However, the prior experience of the candidate will go a long way in determining their profile strength. The current PR situation requires one to have at least 90-95 points encompassing all the different areas such as education, experience, language skills, and the skills assessment.</div><div><br></div><div>Australia has only a few excellent business schools which are evident from the fact that not many make the cut for the FT rankings.</div><div><br></div><div>My suggestion - If PR is your aim, then work on improving the basic requirements such as IELTS/PTE scores and CCL language exams, rather than investing in a 2 year-long MBA without GMAT.&nbsp;</div><div>Check the current MLTSSL, SOL lists for more clarity towards the occupation/role after MBA, and determine if they have these roles listed.</div>

Yes, agreed. If relocating to Australia is your goal, do an MBA at a better school, one that is preferably ranked, so that you have a better network and better careers support.&nbsp;<div><br></div><div>If you don't have 3-4 years of work experience, though, it might be instead worth it to consider a Master's in Management program from a ranked school. Melbourne for example has a 2-year MiM program that's an excellent pathway for international students who want to work in Australia.&nbsp;</div>

Thanks MBA Hipster for your suggestion and will see if admission is now open for MIM (hope it is master of international Managment). However I seen here @ Find_MBA, Deakin has been ranked as 7 position in Australia as compared to Adelaide and RMIT at 7 and 11 position. Find MBA ranks schools according to the number of page views. That's not a very useful metric.

For example, it ranks USC above Harvard.&nbsp;
