I already worked in this sector and I would like to progress in my career, possibly living an international experience in another country diffrent from where I'm born (Italy).
My profile is 7 years of experience in this sector and I'm now in a managerial position in sales.

IMD and then RSM. I would say also IE, but it too expensive for getting almost the same results if not even worse

My perception about the schools you mentioned (IMD, ESADE, IE, IESE, MBS )is the following:

Considering your strong interest in consumer goods; i would say that IESE is more finance/consulting oriented.

IE, i was accepeted to that school, but i find (maybe i am wrong) it is a kind of school i would nto recommend.
It asks for 50.000 euros as INSEAD and LBS do with a brand by far less strong and recognized.

Therefore, i would put away those schools, at least from your perspective.

I do not know MBS well, thus, no clue

IMD and RSM are surely industry oriented.

If you get a look at the ECONOMIST rankings not with the aim of seeing how they are ranked, but with the aim of figuring out the top recruiters and the field those schools are focused on, you can get a confirmation of what I told you

For a one year program IMD and INSEAD are the best in Europe. Cambridge and IESE are the next best options. Avoid RSM. RSM is awful. I just did my MBA there and I was very disappointed, as were many of my classmates. Academically you get a third-rate education since they bus in a majority of the professors from third rate places mostly in third world countries, many of the students can't speak English, and the program is very badly run. The career centre hardly functions and top consulting firms and banks do not actively recruit at the RSM MBA program. Do not waste your money on an RSM MBA degree or you will very much regret it.

I'd recommend RSM, good value, 1 year, international class, good class size (100 students), massive alumni network plus Rotterdam is a great city - really good buzz!

Andrea, If I were you, I'll consider Cranfield.
It has great reputation as marketing MBA in U.K.
And note that great britain has the largest retail industry in europe (ie. Tesco, sainsburry, marks&spencer, Next).

Cranfield main recruiters are Johnson&Johnson, ancelor mittal, rolls royce.

Second best option is ESADE which is strong in both marketing and enterpreneurship.

I also want to give my opinion regarding other schools mention above:
- INSEAD: great school if you targeting mgmt consulting
- Oxford, Cambridge: great school if you want to work in consulting, non-profit organization, and government.
I also heard cambridge has many networks with private equity surrounding the area.
- IESE: great for mgmt consulting (at madrid office if you can speak fluent spanish), and investment banking.
- IMD: great if you are targeting industries like electronic (phillip), healthcare (Medtronic), telecom, etc.
- RSM: don't know much about its MBA. But it is a great school of economist. Lots of nobel prize winner proffessors.

I entered also other good schools but I needed marketing / sales and industry and I saw that Esade was the best I could find in this.

I'm going to univ. of Toronto because I have great chance to get a Permanent residency status so I can take education loan there.
As I don't have enough money to fund the full tuition fee.
And also because I'm interested to learn more about Integrative Thinking.

If I can speak any spanish, I would have followed your footstep and study in spain.
I hope I can do international exchange at barcelona or at one of the beautiful cities in europe.

Check out the Goethe Business School in Frankfurt. I recently finished classes in their EMBA program, and the full time (one year) program has been running for the past couple of years. They are a really good university and much of the curriculum is developed based on courses at Duke University.
