Admission Decision - MSc Supply Chain from Cranfield vs. Manchester vs. Polimi GSM (MIP)

Hi all,

I recently received an offer from Cranfield for their flagship SCM program. I am still waiting on application results from Manchester Alliance and Polimi Graduate School of Management.

I am completely okay with living in a county such as Bedfordshire (Cranfield) and would rather enjoy it since I would like to focus on academics. But, QS rankings rank Manchester the highest followed by Polimi and then Cranfield. Could you please help me which of the following has the best faculty, post-graduation employability and most importantly global recognition given that course structures vary.

Hi, Duncan - thanks for responding. By faculty, I mean quality of education. I happened to do some research with Cranfield as they have their professors profiles on their program page but the rest don’t - I must say, they have good professors. As an International student, it would be helpful to get insight into the quality of education (an extension of the professors who teach different modules) for the rest.

I don't know if any of these schools will really have true global recognition in USA, Asia and other regions. Manchester and Cranfield come up regularly on this board when discussing supply chain courses. Have a search for some of the other related threads.

The course structures are different, I think you have a much wider range of electives at Cranfield which in my mind makes it a potentially more interesting curriculum.

If you want to work in the UK then I would probably go for one of the two UK schools.
