anti-immigrant sentiment

I am from India and thinking about doing an MBA in Europe beginning in 2016. I am interested in IESE in Spain and Audencia Nantes in France but these aren't my final choices.

However I am a bit worried about reports of anti immigrant sentiment in this part of the world. I don't want to have to fear for my safety. I assume that business school campuses would be relatively insulated from this, right? I do also worry about looking for a job after graduation too, and whether I would be discriminated against in the workplace. I suppose I am overreacting though, right?

I think business schools will be insulated and so will cosmopolitan cities like Barcelona.

The labour market is a bit different. Traditional MBA employers want foreign latent, but language, accent, cultural assimilation and networking are all things that some international students struggle with. In that respect, an extensive MBA like IESE is better than an intensive one like Audencia.

I think I understand. It's probably better to work on the language before I start the MBA so that I can have a head start. I have some Spanish knowledge but I'm not fluent. I've heard that Barcelona is nice.

Barcelona is lovely. The regional government gives heavy subsidies for courses in Catalan, the language spoken there.
