EDHEC MBA review and employability in the Netherlands

Hello,

I am Greek, currently working in Greece and pursuing an MBA outside of Greece. Also, I have received a 730 in GMAT. After I complete the MBA I want to live and work in the Netherlands. The obvious choice would be RSM, which I seriously consider as an option. However, tuition fees for RSM are high, I could afford them but with difficulty. As a result, I started exploring other, more affordable MBAs, that on the same time are pretty good in rankings. At the moment I am considering EDHEC Global MBA, that offers a 50% scholarship based on my GMAT score.
Given that after my studies I want to work in the Netherlands, probably in a tech company, is studying in France going to be a problem? Will it be difficult for me to land a job in the Netherlands without the networking that RSM offers?
In addition to that, I would like to know more about the studies in EDHEC. Are they worth the investment?

European labour markets are highly national. Edhec is a great option to work in France, assuming you speak French. For the Netherlands, maybe Tias, Amsterdam, Antwerp or Vlerick would be better?

I haven't considered those schools due to their rankings. Do they at least offer good networking? Are they value for money?

I think it's self-evident that the schools in the Dutch-speaking region offer better networking there than a school in Nice. You can use the Value column on the FT MBA ranking to compare value for the schools in the top 100.

Small programmes can't qualify for many rankings. Amsterdam has only 25 MBA students, for example: https://www.topmba.com/college/amsterdam-business-school/amsterdam-mba-full-time It has better employment than Vlerick https://www.topmba.com/college/vlerick-business-school/full-time-mba

Hello, I am an alumnus of EDHEC (2017-18) who is currently working in Netherlands and based on my experience, I can tell you that EDHEC alumni can be found in not just different countries but continents as well. Yes, being a student at EDHEC does give you an edge in finding a job in France but it does not mean that you cannot find a job in the other European countries.

If I were you I would not go to EDHEC. Try RSM, they can give you a scholarship with your GMAT Score (especially as you are greek). If your goal is to live in the Netherlands then... it is a no brainer even if you have to pay a bit more. It will pay off over time and you will have the best network opportunities. Hope it helps.
Plus, if you do it now you are early in the selection process meaning that they have money and haven't distributed it to students.

Indeed, other schools have alumni in many places, but it's already such a challenge to get hired into a supervisory role in The Netherlands without a professional level of Dutch.

Hello, I am EDHEC alumni 2020 and found a job in the Netherlands. I am from Latin America and my objective when I started the program was to land a job in Europe. I had a couple of good options outside France and I chose the Netherlands at the end. Depending on the job Dutch would be needed (I work in an investment fund 100% in English). Note that if you study outside the NL and then work here, you would have a tax benefit (30% ruling), this is not posible to get if you study in the NL (the tax exemption is quite big) so I would check this also when choosing the university
