I would like to better understand the MBA options in France and the job possibilities thereafter.

I speak fluent French. My goal is to go to France and receive the possibility of working in the country. I do not have a European citizenship.

My basic question right now is if it's better to do an English language MBA or one in the French language. It seems that English language MBA programs are more popular in the country which seems strange to me.

I work in the oil industry right now but I would be open to any industry after I graduate.

I think this hinges on whether you speak and write business French and have the idiom and jargon of the industry. If not, then a French language programme is better.

English language programmes are more popular with students, not really with employers.

If you are already fluent with French, then go for the ones that offer the best international mobility according to the FT ranking. Also check linkedin which school has the better network for the industry/city you want to work in. (You can click Duncan's profile on how to use linkedin to check that if you don't know)

How much work experience do you have? If it's not much, then something like HEC's Programme Grand École could be interesting to you.

Five years of work experience, consulting (back office). I'm really considering doing a French language MBA to get caught up on the business jargon and idioms as suggested above. Thank you everybody for your thoughts.
