I'm looking for a management masters degree

I'm currently pursuing my bachelor's in commerce honours from well known University of Delhi. I was planning to opt for Master's in management but a few of my knowns said that it is not worthy for a commerce student. Can anyone explain the concept of MIM. Also, I looked out for a few more options:
Master's in Economics and management science
Msc in business administration
Please let me know what can be the ideal option considering I'm a commerce student

These are very open-ended questions. It's hard to answer if you don't share a specific career goal. If you want to move to the UK, for example, an on-campus MiM from a top business school gets you closer to potential employers and will up-skill you in the soft skills areas that might matter more to European managers than to Indian ones, like critical thinking, managing upwards, presentation skills,  leading small teams, cross-cultural skills, etc.

Hey Duncan,
You mean to say that MIM from any top school is worthy for any student?

Also I'm confused now after my friends told me that MIM is generally for switching to management who has other backgrounds like engineering or arts related

Your friends are not experts in the MiM. Many of the top MiM degrees in mainland Europe *require* an undergraduate degree in a relevant field like management or economics (CBS, HHL, HSG, Ieseg, NHH, RSM, TUM, UCD, WU, Esade, WHU).
