Istituto Marangoni, Milan or NEOMA or Skema - Which to choose for LUXURY BRAND MANAGEMENT

Hi, I've applied for Msc Fashion and luxury brand management in Istituto Marangoni and i got in Milan.  I also got in NEOMA Business school and SKEMA, for the similar course and now have to make a decision and soon . It would really be amazing if you could give me some insight regarding which institute to go for.

Istituto Marangoni, Milan - Msc. Fashion and Luxury Brand Management
Fee - approx. 24,500 euros
And you receive a Marangoni Certificate at the end of the course.

NEOMA Business School - Msc. International Masters in Luxury Management
Fee - 14,000 euros
A dual degree course with Politecnico Di Milano. One term in Reims other in Milan.

SKEMA Business School - Msc. Fashion and Luxury brand Management
Fee - 18,000 euros
Degree course in Sophia Antipolis


My professional goal is to be a Buyer or a merchandise Manager in a Luxury Brand.
Please help me out I really need to make the right decision.

Assuming you speak both French and Italian at the professional level, then I think that thwe MiP-Neoma programme is interesting: both French and Italian degrees and the international experience will be very useful.

PS Of course, if you speak neither French nor Italian to the professional level then you will be better off spending your money on language courses.

Well all the courses mentioned are taught in English so Language is not a big issue.

Did you even read the articles I linked to? Your question suggests you did not.

Language is an issue because, even if the courses are taught in English, there is little work available for people who do not write and speak the language to a professional standard.

yeah sorry about that i didn't but i did now and I am aware of the fact that this will be an issue when i'd have to apply for internships and jobs, I was told about it. I have planned on learning a bit of French or Italian for the course i'll be joining so that it is not a big problem for me. I've actually started with the basics as well for both. So hopefully if i join any of these institutions i'll be in a position to converse in the local language though not fluently but it will surely make a difference. When i had my Skype interviews for the admission i was made aware of the language barrier by the institutes.
Now i have to decide between the three.

If you speak neither, then I suggest you really focus on whichever you can learn most fluently, the fastest. That is probably French. But you will not get to fluency during an English-language MSc because you will have no time to learn fast enough, nor the opportunities. It would be better to learn the language and then do an MSc taught in the language, if you don't want to return to your own country. Basic French will not be very useful in the workplace.

Apart from the language issue how would you rate the course in all the three universities. Some of my peers say that since Marangoni is in top 10 in the world it should be opted for.

It's not a language issue. It's a career issue. If your goal is to take a course to help you find work, it doesn't matter how good any of these schools is if they don't lead you forward. A free, first-class ticket to Bali sounds great, but it won't get me home. So if I want to go home, the plane is not one of the top ten.

Well, as I try to suggest in my post on luxury, there are few vacancies in the industry which are selected on merit, or which lead straightforwardly to the sort of salaries that business school post-graduates expect (indeed, sometimes there are not any salaries). Issue of race, gender and power run deeply through the industry.
